1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after our team shares the vehicle details, final fare estimate, and pickup information via WhatsApp or phone call.

Until confirmation, any enquiry is treated as a booking request only.

2. Cancellation by Customer

Customers may cancel their booking by informing us via phone or WhatsApp. Cancellation charges depend on the timing of cancellation:

• More than 24 hours before pickup: No cancellation charge.
• Within 24 hours of pickup: A partial cancellation charge may apply to compensate for driver allocation and scheduled logistics.
• No-show or last-minute cancellation: The booking may be treated as a no-show, and a cancellation fee equivalent to the driver's dispatch cost may be charged.

3. Cancellation by Varanasi Rides

In rare situations such as mechanical vehicle breakdown, driver unavailability due to emergencies, natural events, or government restrictions, VaranasiRides.com reserves the right to cancel a booking.

In such cases, we will make every reasonable effort to arrange an alternative vehicle or issue a full refund if any advance payment was made.

4. Refund Policy

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed based on the cancellation terms mentioned above.

Refunds are generally processed within 5–7 business days via the original payment method (UPI, bank transfer, or other agreed mode).

5. Airport & Outstation Bookings

Airport pickups and outstation trips (such as to Deoghar, Gaya, or Lucknow) involve specific vehicle and driver coordination. Cancellation requests for these long-distance trips should be made as early as possible to avoid scheduling fees.

Any parking fees, bridge tolls, or waiting charges already incurred at the time of cancellation are non-refundable.

6. Delays & Customer Responsibility

Delays caused by the customer (late arrival at the airport, incorrect hotel pickup details, or unresponsive contact numbers) may result in waiting charges or cancellation without refund after the 30-minute grace period.
